I currently work in Customer Service for a restaurant distribution company. I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and have an Associates of Applied Science in Culinary Arts and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Truckee Meadows Community College. Eventually I would like to work in the Hospitality Industry and open my own Inn/Bed and Breakfast. I am hard working and driven and meet the goals that I set. I discovered my love of cooking from my father who was going to go into business with me until he died five years ago. I have a passion for cooking that i hope never fades; i am slowly starting to grow a lot of my own food, though this is a trial and error process while i am growing in pots in an apartment haha. I am enjoying learning that nothing tastes better than food picked out of your garden that morning. I am a vegetarian; for the health reasons as well as the fact that i don’t like the way animals are treated today, but i promise that this blog will not be a rant about vegetarianism just yummy vegetarian and vegan recipes that even the most avid meat-eaters will enjoy and well as my journey with exercise and this hilarious adventure we call life! I love the way that eating healthy and working out has made me feel and i hope i can pass those benefits on to you!

Love your video and I have been researching and making my own changes also to live a healthy lifestyle.
I just read your blog about your plans on getting a Triple Crown for hiking and was led here. I think both your hiking adventures and your cooking adventures very exciting!
I’m very glad that you had that time taking cooking classes with your dad. I met him briefly when I was out in CA visiting and he was really a nice man who obviously loved his family very much.
I’m looking forward to reading more of your adventures and urge you forward in them.
All the very best,
Deb.
Thank you!!! I miss my dad but I know he would be so excited for me!!! I am thankful every day that I got that time in school with him.
